The Sims 3

Yo!
Here I am to write a bit about the new game of The Sims. It's awesome! I played all the Sims series, since The Sims 1 Deluxe Edition. My brother and I have always gathered money to buy together the newest expasion packages, and we've spent some whole vacations playing. When Eletronic Arts announced that the release date of The Sims 3 would be pospouned to June, we couldn't believe it. Anxiously we waited until we were finally able to buy the game. Still, I waited some weeks more because I had a lot to study and I knew that if I had the game, I would play too much and study too little. As I knew I would have the time to play as much as I wanted, I left the university strictly to the shopping center, to finally lay my hands on the Sims.
So, I've written a lot about myself and little about the game itself. To the ones that don't know what it's about, in this game you can say that you play God: you create people, build their houses and control their actions. Seems pretty boring saying it like that, but you don't know how much fun it is until you play it. There are thousends of possibilities. You choose wich career you'll have and if you'll take some opportunities or not. Weird things can also happen, for example: if you're character is male and you look for too long through a telescope, you might be abducted by aliens, and return to Earth a pregnant man!
The difference between The Sims 3 and 2 is that you can control your Sim through the whole neighbourhood. This might be a litlle complicated when you're house are full of Sims, 'cause you'll have to control all of them simultaniously. What is also very cool are the possibilities of colours and textures you can pick for your clothes and objects. The online community is also very nice: you can download sims, houses and objects from other players for free, and also buy some new official stuff from EA games. Well, the easiest way to learn about the game is watching the movie:
The piece of advice I've got for you about the game is: check your computer features. The video of mine is not good enough, and therefore the game doesn't look so great, which is a pitty, because the graphics of the Sims 3 are way better than the previous ones.
So, this is what I'll be doing most of the time in July!

New blog!

I'm back!
Since I've got nothing better to do while I'm stuck home (except for playing The Sims 3), I've made a new blog, about the RPG adventure that we'll start playing on Thursday. It is called "Beyond the Point of no Return", and the link is already available on my list of blogs (->). The name comes from one of my favourite songs of the musical The Phantom of the Opera, "Point of No Return". I'll tell the story of our fictional adventure from my point of view. I guess Beyond the Point of no Return will be much more interesting than Pipoca's Room, hahaha.
Now I have to go to the doctor.
See you soon!

RPG

Hi everyone!
Finally on vacations! Last month was really chaotic, I still can't believe how I managed to do all I had to on time. At least this time I had good grades, so in the end I didn't have to kill myself studying.
Yesterday I went to the dentist and she pulled out a tooth of mine (I have no idea how to say that in English - I bet the way I did is wrong, but since it was so hard to take it out of my mouth, I guess it could be called "pulling out"). It was suppoused to be easy, but the tooth had grown since the last time I took an X-Ray and it was sort of stuck under the next one. The result was 1,5 hour to get it out and a lot of pain afterward. So this week I'm going to be basically home all the time, trying to keep my mouth shut so I recover well (it's so hard not to speak and sing ! T_T).
Perhaps on Wednesday, if I'm feeling good enough to, me and some friends are going to start a RPG (Role Playing Game) adventure. We'll be playing "Vampire, The mask" (I'm not sure if the name in Portuguese was literally translated from English). It'll be fun! For the ones who speak Portuguese, feel free to know some more about our game:

Well, that's it for today.
Oyasumi!
